GPE launches new social impact partnerships

Following successful long-term partnerships with XLP and National Energy Action, GPE has launched two new social impact partnerships with Future Frontiers and The London Clean Air Initiative.

These new three-year partnerships reflect our long-term commitment to creating a meaningful and measurable impact in the communities where we operate. The organisations have both been carefully selected for their strong alignment with the two leading principles of our Social Impact Strategy: promoting inclusive communities and delivering healthier, greener spaces in London.

Future Frontiers
Future Frontiers is a social mobility charity set up to empower young people to broaden their horizons and prepare for fulfilling futures. Focused on a variety of industries across London, Future Frontiers connect businesses with under-resourced young people to help  build careers knowledge, employability skills, confidence and connections to unlock their potential.

The London Clean Air Initiative
The London Clean Air Initiative is an ambitious non‑profit community organisation, founded during the COVID‑19 pandemic when a dramatic reduction in traffic revealed the powerful link between cleaner air, public health and wellbeing. Working across whole communities, it brings together schools, businesses, residents and local authorities to engage, educate and empower Londoners to take collective action on clean air and sustainability.

In addition to an annual corporate donation of at least £50,000 for both organisations, we will also aim to deliver at least 240 hours of GPE employee volunteering time each year and both partners will be the focus of GPE fundraising activities over the next three years.

  • GPE has a long standing commitment to supporting organisations that help address the needs of the local community. We are delighted to be continuing this tradition through our support of Future Frontiers and The London Clean Air Initiative. We’re excited to build strong relationships with our new partners and to work together to make a meaningful, lasting difference.

  • We are so grateful to the team at GPE for selecting Future Frontiers as their next charity partner. This support gives us the opportunity to test new programmes, collaborate with GPE and their networks, and continue to deliver engaging and inspiring careers exploration programmes to young people from low-income backgrounds. Together, we will work towards a society where every young person can unlock their potential regardless of their background or the barriers they face.

  • At The London Clean Air Initiative, our work is driven by our mission to educate, engage and empower London's communities to take action for clean air. It is encouraging to see a business like GPE share these values in the fight to improve air quality. Through our partnership, we are able to work with local businesses, communities and schools on rewilding projects, academic research and education. In collaboration, these initiatives are helping to create a greener and healthier future for all those around us.
