Who we work with

British Property Federation

The British Property Federation is a membership organisation that represents the interests of all those involved in property ownership and investment. It aims to create the conditions in which the property industry can grow and thrive for the benefit of members and the economy. Members work with legislators and regulators (including various financial, planning and environmental bodies) to provide the knowledge and expertise needed to make decisions and deliver policies, particularly policies involving urban regeneration, sustainable communities, social inclusion, tax-efficient property investment, savings and pensions reform, carbon reduction and environmental improvement. Toby Courtauld is a past President of the British Property Federation and a member of the Board and Policy Committee. Nick Sanderson is a member of the Finance Committee. Kathryn Barber is a member of the Sustainability Committee, Alexa Baden-Powell is a member of the Commercial Committee, Martin Leighton is a member of the Tax Committee, Stephen Burrows is a member of the Technical Accounting Group, and Brett Crawley is a member of the Insurance Committee.

European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA)

EPRA is a membership organisation whose mission is to promote, develop and represent the European public real estate sector.

It's objectives include fostering trust for and encouraging greater investment in listed real estate in Europe. This is achieved by a full commitment to transparency, from EPRA and its members alike.Through establishing best practices in accounting, reporting and corporate governance, to provide high-quality information to investors and to create a framework for debate and decision-making on the issues that determine the future of the sector.

GPE adopts EPRA's best practice guidance for reporting its key financial metrics. Nick Sanderson is a member of the Reporting and Accounting Committee and Janine Cole is a member of the Sustainability Committee.

Westminster Property Association
Formed in 1987,Westminster Property Association works with the City of Westminster; contributing to London's pre-eminent global status and providing a world-class experience for residents, businesses and visitors. Together these activities help build the wider economic success of the UK.

The focus of Westminster Property Association activities include:

  • Working for a good open relationship with Westminster City Council and other public authorities
  • Pressing for a user friendly planning framework for development in Westminster
  • Lobbying public authorities to encourage a built environment, which supports Westminster's unique diversity by respecting the heritage, developing a better public realm, using innovative building design and championing environmentally sustainable development.
New West End Company

New West End Company is a major Business Improvement District (BID) for Bond Street, Oxford Street, Regent Street and 12 neighbouring streets.

Supported and run by major retailers and property owners, the New West End Company’s aim is to build awareness of London’s West End, promoting the area’s commercial potential and reinforcing its position as the world's premier shopping destination.
This aim is achieved through the promotion of the district, delivery of street management services and funding public realm projects to improve the shopping environment.

Toby Courtauld is on the Strategic Board of the New West End Company.

British Council for Offices

The British Council for Offices (BCO) is Britain's leading forum for the discussion and debate of issues affecting the office sector. The BCO works to advance the collective understanding of its members, enabling them to work together to create more effective office space. We actively contribute to BCO research projects.

James Pellatt has served as a BCO Judge for all London and South East categories, including innovation, refurbished work place and commercial workplace, for three years.
